Newport, Get to Know Your What Cheer? Brigade

Thanks to everyone who’s been so sweet to us at Newport. Here are some fun things to know about us:

-We are from Providence, RI and we love it.

-We just got back from a trip to Europe where we won a brass band competition in the Basque country of Spain.

-We are on Anchor Brain Records.

-The New York Times once called us “thrillingly competent.”

-We are having fun at the Folk Fest!

    Hello all – I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your performances and energy and unexpected surprise appearances at the Newport Folk Festival. I laughed out loud when I saw you at the top of the fort on Sunday! That was SO fun! Much continued success to you all! You’re brilliant! From a fan of Newport Folk Festival who saw Boy Dylan “go electric”. Stay young and keep on “rockin’ on”!!!! Peace to you all!
